Every year the PTA hosts the International Festival for ALL students, staff, parents, siblings, family and friends to attend. The festival is a great opportunity to see the community of the school come together in an end of the year celebration!
There is no cost to attend. The activities, games and food do require the purchase of tickets.
There are student performances led by Senora Trujillo and Mrs. Geraldi. Every student will participate in a short performance during the festival.
There are many opportunities to learn about other countries at the country booths, where students can earn a free homework pass.
There will be food with ethnic flair, games, photo booth and even an International cake walk!
It is truly an experience you don't want to miss!
Please also consider volunteering some time, if we all help everyone will get to enjoy the festivities! The festival is only a success with volunteers!
The International Festival is Friday May 5, 2017 from 5:30pm-8:30pm!

We Need Your Help to make the International Festival a SUCESS for everyone!
We are asking you to sign up for at least one 30 minute session the day of the festival- please follow the link below and sign up!
It takes a lot of people giving a little to make this event amazing. Here's some ways you can help!
- Donate items for the raffle baskets
- Donate drinks for the event
- Donate a cake/ cupcakes to the Cake Walk (on 5/5)
- Donate some time (any amount helps) either before or the day of helping to set up, clean up, run a game, help with behind the scenes for the student performances, sell tickets or drinks, collect money at the Student Crafty Court, or lots more!!
- Host a country booth
- Make calls to solicit silent auction items or pick them up for the co-chairs (email Jaime)

Celebrate Cultures and Customs from around the world
Do you have a passion for a certain country? Why not show what you know by hosting a booth at this year's International Festival!
We are looking for volunteers to share the culture and customs for their country of choice. We encourage volunteers to showcase a strong sense of culture in the country they are representing. (I.e. clothing, religion, schools, etc....)

DO YOU MAKE A CRAFT? JEWELRY - ART - KNITTING & CROCHET ... ANYTHING HANDMADE BY YOU!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CRAFTER LIKE YOU!!
This year the International Festival committee will host a handmade craft marketplace for Brooks Global Studies students.
Any grade level students, K-5, can apply to have their crafts sold during the festival.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FROM BELOW. ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY MARCH 30, 2017, PLEASE TURN IN TO THE OFFICE.
